Iran Funding Al-Qaeda Propaganda

The neo cons are beating the war drums louder and louder pushing the idea that Iran is funding Al-Qaeda. Why would Iran fund Al-Qaeda when their government is controlled by Shiites and Al-Qaeda is Sunni? Shia and Sunni historians record that many Shia have been persecuted, intimidated, killed, and deemed heretics by Sunni extremists. I find it hard to believe that Iran, a country without an air force or a navy, would want to provoke a conflict with the US and support the opposite sect of Islam that has persecuted them for hundreds of years.

President Bush has given the CIA approval to perform covert operations to destabilize Iran and promote regime change. The London Telegraph has reported that the CIA is supplying money and weapons to Jundullah, an Iranian militant group.

"Jundullah is a Sunni Al-Qaeda offshoot organization that was formerly headed by alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Even if you believe the official story of 9/11 to the letter, the fact that Bush has personally authorized U.S. support for this group completely dismantles the facade of the war on terror." -reported Paul Joeseph Watson and Steve Watson

I am getting sick and tired of the neo con lies and propaganda. They are telling us that Iran is funding Al-Qaeda when they're not, and then they admit that we're funding Al-Qaeda to destabilize Iran. Could this be a form of double-speak used to short circuit the thought process of the masses? No, I don't think so, because most Americans don't even know the difference between a Sunni and a Shia. Most Americans can't even locate Iran on a map.
